Amazon Associates Anti-Sexual Content Discrimination – A Side Rant

Hello again and Happy ______ (insert day of week here)!

So, you may notice all of my Amazon content has been removed from the blog. I used the Amazon Associates program which is an affiliate program to help direct readers to specific products that I was recommending as well as generate a small amount income to help pay for my website hosting for the blog that way I’m not coming out of pocket for it. (Can you blame me?! Who doesn’t love free shit?!)

In February, I got an email from the program stating that they could not access my site. I wrote back shocked because I had pretty good traffic considering how infrequently I had been posting and had never had an issue with accessing my website. After a few back and forth exchanges of me saying “Uh, nope – my site IS working – here is the address again.” and them saying “We can’t see your site.” the communication ended with a very curt response from them stating that the issue was closed and they would no longer respond to my messages.

I figured it may just be an error or a stupid rep on their end so I started a new account and spent many hours creating custom ads and links to product recommendations. A few of you started to use the links to Amazon and had generated a small amount of income for me to use towards the blog (THANK YOU FOR THAT!).

Less than a week ago I received a similar email from Amazon Associates stating that they could not access my blog. I responded pointing out that I was starting to get the impression that it was not them having issues accessing my site and that it was discrimination against my content. I got an email ignoring my suspicions again, yet stating that when I signed up I entered my website address incorrectly. Um, nope. I’m very OCD so I know I checked that fucker at LEAST 4 times for accuracy to ensure it was correct before I submitted it.

I FINALLY had someone respond to me with this:

-Your Site does not qualify for inclusion in the Associates Program because the content promotes unsuitable activity. For example, your Site may contain sexually explicit, violent, libelous, or defamatory materials, or promote discriminatory or illegal activities.

Here comes the rant…… There is no nudity on my blog (at least not yet LOL!), and some references to sex but I am not promoting anything unsuitable. Camming is a LEGAL profession! I know this because I sent the IRS $XX,XXX last year to pay my taxes (after deductions!). If the IRS is taking my money it’s valid and legal! If it’s suitable for the IRS to take my money it’s suitable enough for an affiliate program, right?! Alcohol is legal and is way more destructive than porn LOL. I doubt they would have stated my blog was unsuitable if I was telling people how to be bartenders.

If you are familiar with my blog and are aware of my content you will note it is is WAY less sexually explicit than these books they sell:

amazon associates, discrimination, sex books, amazon, sex discrimination, amazon associates content rules

Hrrrrmmmmmhhh, then there is this stuff:

Amazon Associates Discriminations, amazon discriminates, anti-sex, sex toys, amazon affiliate discrimination

I guarantee there is more “unsuitable” content on Amazon, I just didn’t feel like digging in any further. Although searching “extreme dildo’s” got me all of those books – LMAO!

Someone please explain to me how the stuff I showed above is more suitable for Amazon to sell but too “unsuitable” for me to use as an affiliate for a blog that informs open minded women (who are more likely to use those toys/read those books) how to make money and keep themselves safe?????

You WILL run into discrimination in the adult industry, even going as far as Amazon not allowing you to use their affiliate program to assist others who are either in the industry or have interest in joining the industry.

I call bullshit Amazon. This is discrimination and “do as I say not as I do”. I’m pulling my account and canceling my Amazon issued Visa now. I spend THOUSANDS of dollars a year on Amazon and am happy to stop doing so because of how hypocritical this policy is.

Straight up bullshit.

Hair Extensions – My Experience with Microlink Strand Style

When I started camming I had about bra length hair. Very thin and very fragile. I had always hated my thin fragile hair and wanted to try hair extensions but never had the guts (I was afraid I would be judged because of them – women can be harsh!), a reason to or the means. Once camming started to really take off for me I decided fuck it, why not. I have nothing to lose (except a few hundred dollars) and if I hated them, I would just remove them. The constant blowdrying, brushing, and curling of my natural hair started causing a LOT of damage and I felt like if I let things keep going the way they were I would have to start cutting it off incrementally due to damage anyway.

My first experience with hair extensions was an impromptu decision to go into Sally Beauty and “see what they had” – AKA, I come out broke with a ton of beauty supplies that will take me fucking YEARS to go through (I have a bad habit with that store, they need an SBS Anonymous group). I bought 2 packs of the Satin Strands iTip extensions in 22″ length, a package of their  (waaayy too small for their iTips) micro links and this hook like tool. I used a pair of pliers from around the house to crimp the beads down onto the tip of the extension.

I spent 6 hours of my Thanksgiving Day installing the mother fuckers….. UGH!

I have to admit – even though I did a shitty job the first time, and it was obvious I was wearing poorly installed extensions I noticed an increase in my income almost right away. It wasn’t crazy big but it was noticeable and I started getting compliments on my hair.

I decided to spend some cash and buy twice as many of the Satin Strands extensions and then have them professionally installed. HUGE mistake! I paid almost $400 for the install at a “professional – LOL” salon and $200+ for the hair and thennnnn….. My hair looked great until I started to itch like crazy and figured out what was up. The stylist apparently didn’t sanitize her tools and gave me fucking lice. Once I removed the extensions I was able to see how much of my hair she had ripped out while installing them. I went from bra strap length hair to not even shoulder length almost GONE hair. I was practically bald, I’m not kidding 🙁 After crying for HOURS about this and $600+ down the drain I had to just figure out how to do it by myself.

I decided I needed to find thicker strands that blended together beautifully and find hair that held up well to washing, blow drying and styling that would hopefully be easier to install. After spending (no joke!) a few HOURS on Amazon I ran across these! ZOMG! When they came in and I opened the package I was INSTANTLY in LOVE! They were 3 times thicker than the Satin Strands and were thick all the way to the bottom! They were CHEAPER, AND they matched my hair color almost perfectly! Hooray!

Installation was super easy (took me 3 hours for a whole head) with these new extensions, a good tool and the correct size of micro links. The hair looked more natural, felt stronger and held up better than the Satin Strands hair. They were easy to maintain and the glue on the tip wore out before the hair did! Awesome! I only had to move them up every 3-4 weeks and they looked great! A full reinstall was needed every 6-8 weeks but ONLY because the glue on the itip would get gummy, the hair was still in phenomenal condition.

So, basically I was able to save HUNDREDS of dollars a month by figuring out how to do this myself. The process definitely required a lot of patience but it paid off in the end 🙂

Shady Members & Guests – How To Protect Yourself as a Camgirl

Admittedly, not EVERYONE is batshit crazy. A majority of people are harmless. As a camgirl you need to keep in the back of your mind at all times that some of these dudes are shady as fuck, in many ways. I don’t care how nice he is to you or how much money he spends on you. As far as you are concerned, every single one of them is a stalker/serial killer, etc. Always watch your ass! Your safety and happiness depends on it!

    1. DO NOT GIVE OUT PERSONAL INFORMATION! EVER! Again with this, I know. But I feel like I cannot beat it into your head enough. Granted some of you are very smart, and I have no doubts you are smart enough to do this but sometimes it’s easy to get caught up when the money is flowing or you get a hot customer you “click” with. Not even your name!

Do not give it out – EVER!
    2. DO NOT TELL THEM YOUR ACTUAL LOCATION! Just. Don’t. Do. It. I lie my ass off. I go far enough to give a regional area and that’s it, in private, by typing it (and it’s ALWAYS hundreds if not thousands of miles away!). If you feel you must give them a state that’s fine but make sure it’s not the one you are in. Unless you like having stalkers then be my guest. Cover/hide your windows if possible. If you tell them you are in the east and the sun is still up when it should be dark they will question you about it. Also, you will have to work around weather unfortunately. If you have a massive thunderstorm coming through and the only place in the whole country that is getting weather is in Kansas and you told them you are in California they may call you out. Yes, the crazy ones will go to those kind of lengths to figure out where you are!

Do NOT Give Out Your Location! EVER!

  1. HIDE ALL EVIDENCE! I leave nothing in my cam room that has my name/address anything on it. Nothing! You never know when you may be in the middle of a hot private or a tip explosion in free chat, on accidentally knock over your cam and everyone in the room can see your electric bill that you just happened to set down until you could get around to mailing it off. Do you buy store brand bottled water and drink it on cam? Peel the damn label off! Did you go to Starbucks before camming, dump that shit into a personal Starbucks cup so they can’t see your name or even worse the drive through label with the date/time and store # on it!

No personal information in your cam room AT ALL! That is what the rest of the house is for!!
  2. DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR PERSONAL PHONE/EMAIL! The resourceful ones can trace this shit back to you! All they have to do with your phone number is use a reverse lookup search engine and BAM! They could be on your doorstep before you know it! If you would like to offer phone sex/sexting, use an APP like Sextpanther. Sextpanther masks your number and their texts/calls come directly to your phone. It’s the safest way to offer these services. I easily make an extra $200-$600 a month doing this. Their payout percentages are awesome too! If you must use an email for camming, use it only for that purpose and do not provide any traceable personal information when you set up the account! Use Gmail and make your name is something like Phucking Wh0re, date of birth is wrong and provide a different country as your location… You get the drift…

Use alternate phone numbers and emails to sign up for any site you work on/social media! NOTHING that can be traced back to you!
  3. BE AWARE! AKA – CHECK YO-SELF! Always keep at the front of your mind when you are on cam that you have anywhere from 10 – THOUSANDS of people in your room watching your every move and listening to every word you say! Don’t slip up and give ANY personal information out at ALL! Keep the tv in other rooms turned down so that in case the local news comes on, they can’t hear it! Keep yourself in check at all times! I know it can be easy to get caught up in a great conversation and maybe divulge a little more than you should (I work out at this place, I like to eat at that one place called bleh, I go to this place all the time! etc…blah blah blah..) but always remember how many people are in your room at any given time. A good way for me to keep myself in check is to picture thousands of creepy eyes on me at once. It’s hard to do this sometimes when you are in your own home, in a comfy room and having a great time, but ALWAYS remember this!
STFU and drink your tea! If they start getting too personal direct the subject back to sex!

This is how I picture every guy that is talking to me in my chat room or just sitting there silently staring. Keeps my ass in check every damn time.
  4. DO NOT EVER – EVER – EVER OPEN A LINK A MEMBER HAS SENT YOU THROUGH CHAT, OR MESSAGES! Don’t do it, I’m serious! ALSO, do not ever go to a website that they direct you to (unless it’s something safe that you are familiar with like Amazon or Pornhub)! (Him: hey BB, this page has videos of my huge dick – the url is: www.wtfrudoingdumbass.cum – you should look at it!). They can send you to a site that will track your location, or install malware/hacking software onto your computer! Don’t fricking do it. Tell him no or just straight up ban his ass for pulling weird shit.

Don’t do it! Chances are he may be sending you something harmless or the chances are he is trying to hack your shit. Risk level Defcon 5!
  5. ALWAYS CLOSE YOUR BROADCAST WINDOW/UNPLUG YOUR CAM IF YOU WON’T BE ON FOR MORE THAN 5 MINUTES! There are news stories all over the place regarding cameras on computers being hacked into. In the off chance some psycho douchebag were able to pull this off and you need to call your credit card company and/or have a conversation with your significant other with location details, etc. There ya go. Takes 1 second to do this. Just do it. Make it a part of your routine as much as checking your earnings or cleaning your dildos.

I know you are doing the COMPLETE opposite of this but this was too damn funny not to post here 🙂
  6. Amazon/FaceTime, Snapchat, etc.. You will get requests for a link to your Amazon Wish List, requests to Facetime and or use messaging apps like Snapchat and Kik. I will of course leave this up to your personal discretion but please do a search regarding compromised personal information in regards to Amazon Wishlists and use your best judgement. I prefer not to use this, however I created a separate Amazon account using my camgirl email (with no personal information linked to it) and only accept gift cards through this account specifically. A lot of men will use this as a way to attempt to gather personal information about you. Facetime, uh, yeah. This one isn’t rocket science….. Snapchat does have a map/locator function so be sure you turn it to “Ghost” mode. You can still use these services, just be smart and vigilant when you do so!                                                                                                                                                                                            I am sure I may have missed something, and there will likely be a part 2 to this post but it’s a great start! Camming is great fun and very enjoyable (and the money is nice too, lol!) but always remember you are taking a risk here and you need to keep yourself safe 🙂
